EJ Kemspon

Welcome,
Ej is a musician, humanitarian and the founder of the Queens Sounds charity and booking agency. Musician since a young age, specialising in Rock and Metal, a multy instrumentalist, recording artist and writer. Her work in the humanitarian sector started when she was a teenager when refugees started landing on the shores of Lesvos. She decided to combine her love of music with her activism work and created Queens Sounds.

Musician

As well as playing all over Europe and the UK, Ej has been in involved in multiple bands and projects over the years. Everything from sound engineering to management she has experience in. She also holds multiple qualifications in music, the most recent being a Masters in "Music Entrepreneurialism". 

Queen Sounds

"Queens Sounds" was founded by EJ in 2020, they are a non for profit booking agency focusing and female and LGBTQ+ musicians. In 2022 they had their first festival in Brighton and have been growing ever since. Their work is just as diverse as their roster and they are continuously tying to push the music industry into a new age. 

Humanitarian

Ej was the youngest volunteer on the island of Lesvos in 2015. She started off by helping bring refugee boats in to safety and continued to aid distribution. Her work later continued in the form of fundraising and Social Media Creation for groups such as "The Hope Project". Ej still attends protests, gives speeches and advises. 

Personal Life

EJ is currently residing in Glasgow and loving every second of it. Although currently focusing on the progression of Queens Sounds. She still has some tricks up her sleeves as always. She is eventually hoping to do a PHD in arts and humanities to help both the music Industry and human rights. ​​​
